Occasionally a camera gets mounted upside down and it isn't installed in a location that can be easily accessed. Fortunately, the HD Multi SeaCam can flip its image around 180° to correct the orientation through the web based user interface.

Step 1 Log into the camera

  • Consult the quick start guide provided with the camera to get the user name and password for the camera.
  • Connect the camera to a power source and a network switch shared with the workstation you plan to use to change the camera settings.
  • Make sure your camera and workstation are both on the same IP address subnet. The default subnet for the HD Multi SeaCam is 192.168.1.###.
  • Point your browser to the web-based user interface for your camera at htttp://[CAMERA IP ADDRESS]filling in the bracket with the IP address of your camera.
    • The default IP address is 192.168.1.250
  • Enter the username and password for your camera when prompted in order to complete login.

Step 2 Access the Picture settings menu

  • Navigate to the Picture submenu
  • To rotate the camera image 180°, change the Flip setting to ON
  • Click on the submit button to save the new settings.
