How To Factory Reset Your IP Model HD Multi SeaCam Without Using the Web UI

This guides explains how to reset an IP model HD Multi SeaCam  to factory settings without using the web browser UI.  

Step 1 Mount and Format microSD Card

	Insert microSD card into a card reader or the microSD card slot of a PC You can also use an SD to microSD adapter with a regular SD port on a PC.
	Open the file browser and find the microSD card in the navigation pane Right click on the microSD card and then select "Format" Select "Fat32" from the File System dropdown menu Click "start" at the bottom of the window Close format window when formatting is complete

Step 2 Create Initialization File

	Select the microSD card in the navigation pane and then right click Select "New" and then select "Text Document"
	Name the file "all_reset.bin", all lower case Click "yes" in response to the file extension warning, this is fine

Step 3 Reset Camera

Eject microSD card from PC Insert microSD card into memory slot of unpowered camera With microSD installed, power up the camera Wait about 30 seconds to allow the camera to fully reset and start up Use the original login credentials supplied at purchase to access the Web UI When initialized correctly, "all_reset.bin" will be deleted from the microSD card If initialization does not occur, check to see if "all_reset.bin" has been deleted If "all_reset.bin" has not been deleted, check the file name and size
