This guide explains how to close the IP model HD Multi SeaCam

Tools

plastic pry tool (spudger)
Oven

Materials

dry gas

Step 1 Reinserting the Chassis/Endcap Assembly

For unit with a dome port, place camera dome down resting on cowl.
For unit with a flat port, place camera down resting on port
Visually align the keying pin on the endcap with the alignment groove in the housing as both halves are assembled
Before closing completely, backfill housing with dry gas such as nitrogen, or use an oven to drive out moisture from the housing
WARNING: Do not exceed 60°C when drying camera in an oven

Step 2 Final Closing of Camera Housing

	Firmly press the endcap into the housing making sure that the endcap bottoms out and is aligned with housing Insert the snap ring back into the inner diameter groove in the housing to retain endcap
	Starting at the bottom of the spiral snap ring, use the plastic pry tool to work around the snap ring until the snap ring is fully seated in the housing
