CAUTION	Some filter materials may heat up significantly due to the radiant energy of the LED light absorbed by the filter.
WARNING	Do not operate a LED SeaLite fitted with a filter adapter in air for extended periods of time.
WARNING	Do not submerge hot glass-based filters into water due to risk of shattering from thermal stress.

Step 1 Gather tools and materials

1x Forward Filter Retainer
- 712-049-0522-00-01
1x Aft Filter Retainer
- 712-049-0523-00-01
2x Filter Holder Disks
- 712-049-0524-00-01
1x Spacer O-ring
- 520-01007
1x Filter Ring Spanner Tool
- 712-049-0538-00-01
1x Filter or Diffuser
- Application dependent, 50mm OD, 2-5mm thick

Step 2 Snap on Aft Filter Retainer

	Using firm pressure, snap the aft filter retaining ring over the front fin of the LED SeaLite port retainer. The threaded end should be facing forward with the castellated spanner features facing aft.
	Place the spacer O-ring around the sapphire front port as shown.

Step 3 Install Filter Stack

	Place one of the filter holder disks on top of the spacer O-ring with the recessed inner groove facing up.
	Center the filter in the circular recess on the rear filter holder disk.
	Place the second filter holder disk on top of the filter with the recessed groove facing down.

Step 4 Secure filter stack with forward retainer

	Thread the forward filter retainer ring over the filter stack and hand tighten.
	While holding the forward filter retainer secure, use the spanner tool to torque the aft filter retainer firmly.
	The filter retainers are torqued properly when a slight bow is visible in the top filter holder disk as shown
